Place a red near the left side top cushion with a line of four reds placed vertically and roughly about three ball's width away from the single red like shown. Place the cue ball anywhere between the yellow and green spots and play a thin contact on the red with check side so that it rebounds off the top cushion and avoids contact with the line of reds by checking into the side cushion and making its way to the baulk end. Try this setup on both sides.
